The foundation of this workbook is to present Jesus and His work. He wants to cleanse us physically, but also mentally and spiritually. The Bible says, "Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard." Isaiah 58:8

Christ is the greatest physician and medical missionary the world has ever known. We are told to imitate His patterns and His works.

"The world needs today what it needed nineteen hundred years ago -- a revelation of Christ. A great work of reform is demanded, and it is only through the grace of Christ that the work of restoration, physical, mental, and spiritual, can be accomplished. Christ's method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Saviour mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed his sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, 'Follow me.'" The Ministry of Healing 143.3
